Well it has been many moons since I last wrote and I'll fill you in on why!! Kyle After being told countless times to not do that!!!!!! Fell off the end of the swing set and BROKE HIS ARM...AGAIN!!!!!! H was swinging from the A part of the swing set to the twirly thingy, and yup fell off! I had just started dinner and walked to the back of the house when I heard the scream, you know that one! The one that when you hear it you know that were in big trouble! He was just getting up when I got to him and his arm was laying under him in an unnatural position. I thought, he did fall about 4 feet! when he got to me he said I wanna go to bed! (I felt the same way but didn't let on!) I had him sit on the couch he was covered in bark dust his face was covered in it and as he sat he wouldn't let go of his arm. I asked him to bend his elbow, which probably wasn't the best Idea but I was trying to figure out what exactly was wrong! Then his fingers went white and we headed to the hospital! Matt was at work and I thought I'll call him after we find out if its broke or not, well need the money!! (stupid economy) when we got to the hospital we were waiting and I asked him how he was doing and he said well, its just that (this is the part where the crying got really bad) its just that... I thought I was good at swing set!!!!!!!!
I hugged the daylights out of him, here we are broken arm, pain and looking at a cast for 6 weeks and his concern is that he wasn't good at swing set!! Can you get more innocent!! How thankful I am to be in the school of Kyle!! After doing all the medical stuff we headed home, we stopped at Grandmas to have some dinner and I told Kyle to eat and he stated he couldn't eat his hamburger he had a broken arm, to which I responded does the other one work? Oh... ya he shook his head and ate his hamburger!!
We headed to the doctors office about 5 days later to get the hard cast on and found out that his arm would need to be reset (this meant surgery) I explained to Kyle what we would need to do and his only concern was that when they put the cast on that it be a glow in the dark cast!!! Big Deal when you are 5!! He did great and the surgery was quick and we will get the real cast tomorrow!!! The people at the hospital told me to keep him down as best I could! I wonder if they have ever watched an 81 pound 4feet 1 inch boy play! (yes, those are his real height and weight) I have no Idea how we will keep him clothed and fed over the teen years!
but ,other than that same old same old! Things are nice here I love the fall! The air and the sun its neat to see the seasons change! I am excited to see the holidays come! My parents are coming in this weekend I can't wait! well Hope to hear from any of you soon! Ill keep you posted!
Love ~Cindy
P.S. To all you boy Moms... Good Luck!!!

Time Flies!!!
Well here I am again trying to get it done and not having enough hours in the day, I'm sure none of you know what that feels like! So here is the update for us! Kyle started school!!!! The big KDG. He loves it, today was his official day alone and I was a little nervous for him, reminding him to behave and to ask for help, all those mothering reminders. As we got to the school he was very anxious to get inside. We walked in and he found his name and had me help him with his name badge! I stood there with tears! (But trying to act cool you know , don't want to embarrass him) His teacher welcomed him and helped him get his things to start the day and as he walked back to his seat he looked at me and said it's ok Mom you can go! I guess I should be happy that he wasn't clinging to me screaming don't go!! (and I am) I guess it just hard to believe that I'm not needed, but them when we got home he had me make him a sandwich so I guess I'm good for somethings!!! I remember that first day and I am so glad that he was happy and excited. How fun it will be to watch him learn and grow this year! He is already full of facts! Mom, did you know that bats eat mosquito's! (Random, but true) How lucky I am to have such a smart boy!
