Hello from the land of the lost!
Yes we are alive no H1n1 or major disaster! Just laziness, oh and a bit of morning sickness! Yep we are expecting! Yea!!!! Some time in early May!! Now if the yuck would pass everything would be great!
So things really are going well we enjoyed the summer and we are now have a fun time with fall! Kyle started back to school, a big first grader! He loves it! But I will say that he, the 2nd week of school and the swing set are not a good combo! I was inside when I heard the Cry and I thought oh no... but it stopped. I was glad for this confirmation that things were OK when it started again louder and worse! I ran outside to See blood running down his face! Ahh! What did you do!he just cried we went in side to clean him up and being early pregnant the smell was overwhelming! I am gagging trying to help him and finally we got things calmed down! when I asked him what he was dong he said I was trying to swing by my teeth you know like Indiana Jones? (I do not remember that part of the show, oh wait he has never seen them!!) I asked him to explain. To the best of my knowledge, One of our swings is broke and the chain is hanging he sat on the cross bar put the chain in his mouth and jumped off! Well the 2 teeth that came out were not permanent but one wasn't even loose. I guess that is a great way to do the job!
Next year the swing set is closed the first month of school!
Tyler is great a little lonely with Kyle being in school but learning to adjust! That about does it for us hope you are all happy and well! Hope to hear form you soon! ~The Pasketts

A testimony sprout!
Sorry about the delay! I never feel like any thing is new but this is a great mile stone for Kyle!
The other night as we read The 3 Little Pigs, the mother tells them it's time for them to go on there way and have their own houses etc. Kyle stopped me and asked why their Mom said they had to leave! I stared telling him that the pigs were getting older and, and them the tears started! Kyle with tears running down his face says I don't wanna leave you and Dad! Oh kyle hugging this little guy! I said you can't say that one day you will have a family and want a home for them and you! and you won't be far from Mom and Dad and besides that, Heavenly Father set up families so that no matter where we are, our family can be forever! And then I saw it, the most beautiful and touching light went on in his eyes! He got it! He in that moment understood that Families are Eternal! I am so thankful for that moment in his life, and that I was there to see the spirit talk to his heart! He did ask if Tyler could live with him, but we will work that out later!

Don't Judge Me!
Yea Don't judge me... I'm really bad at this!!!!
So a lot has happened over the past 3 months let me catch you up!!
We will go in order...
Matt- Pretty much the same still just working his buns off! between IP and the business he has been a busy boy! Things are going well though the paper business is good and they are working on a Paskett Construction Job!! He is excited...Tired, but excited!!!
Cindy-Obviously not blogging. The Primary Program went AWESOME!!! I have amazing counselors! I sat there on that Sunday and thought, why am I not nervous? I know the Lord gave me amazing women to serve with. I feel sometimes like I just stand there and they do everything, its such a blessing to have great friends!! The vinyl stuff has been keeping me very busy as well . I love it. It has been so fun to use and share with others! We have a craft sale on Dec. 12th and then we are off to Utah on the 13th! (that should be a fun week.) Although I can say that my sanity is coming back, Kyle went back to school today after a 3 week break!!! (The School moved) It's a beautiful new school that I am SOOOOO thankful for!! Also a while ago Melissa tagged me for Random facts so here they are
1- I sing Opera to my kids in the car, they love it!
2- You can usually tell if I am having a good day by my mascara! If its good those puppys are long and luscious if its a bad day, well they are MIA.
3-I love to clean. clean, clean, clean!
4-I hate chocolate Ice cream (Shut up)
5-Most of you know this but I'll just remind you. I sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. yes, I look at my husbands feet at night. I don't know when this started but now there is no other way for me to rest! And Melissa you are an angel sleeping on the couch like that, I've heard that guy! Oh and hey Jon the U sucks! He He He!
6-When I get nervous I repeat the Presidents of the US in my head. I learned them in 5th grade!
So when you read those together, it's not good, not good at all! but alas now it's your turn I tag Melanie, Melissa B, Nikki, Brock, and you, who ever you are you blog stalker!
Kyle- Cast FREE!!!! Yea it's off and he can be fully submerged in water again!!! It was la little bit harder for him to get used to having that arm back! He nursed it a couple of days and then you could see him realizing that he was indestructible again! He is back to normal! He got some Lego's for his birthday and not only are they fun to step on, you find them everywhere and in everything! But they have been hours and hours of fun for him!
Tyler-He got his first buzz cut and he looks JUST like Jacob, if you know Jacob my brothers son you know how adorable he is! He has started talking so much! and his favorite ... You see that! He will come in the room and ask, you see that? Gets me every time, nothing is ever broken but the one time I don't go Whammy! I'm trying to stay ahead! He has enjoyed the Lego's as well he figured out that they can be made into guns and it has been nothing but pure pleasure for him!
well that's about it! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and we are looking forward to the holiday season! It's amazing to me still how life changes. You believe in Santa, you don't believe in Santa, You are Santa! The kids can hardly stand themselves and we are just as impatient! With this time of year a joy and an honor fills me! I am grateful for Christ, his life and his Sacrifice how humble and in awe I am of the Savior of all mankind! I also think of Mary, the night she worked to give him mortal life, to have the quiet reassurance from the spirit that comes when you hold that baby, but for her to know that she was holding the Son of God! Did she know what his life would entail or mean as she rocked the King of all Kings! I am thankful for her Valiant spirit and her obedience to the letter of the Lord! I love this season there isn't much that I can do with out a tears of gratitude! God Lives! His son was sent to save us! All will be calm and all will be bright as we follow the teaching of the Messiah! Merry Christmas to you and your Family, all of our love and wishes for this season and the new year! Love the Pasketts

I thought I was good at swingset!!
Well it has been many moons since I last wrote and I'll fill you in on why!! Kyle After being told countless times to not do that!!!!!! Fell off the end of the swing set and BROKE HIS ARM...AGAIN!!!!!! H was swinging from the A part of the swing set to the twirly thingy, and yup fell off! I had just started dinner and walked to the back of the house when I heard the scream, you know that one! The one that when you hear it you know that were in big trouble! He was just getting up when I got to him and his arm was laying under him in an unnatural position. I thought, he did fall about 4 feet! when he got to me he said I wanna go to bed! (I felt the same way but didn't let on!) I had him sit on the couch he was covered in bark dust his face was covered in it and as he sat he wouldn't let go of his arm. I asked him to bend his elbow, which probably wasn't the best Idea but I was trying to figure out what exactly was wrong! Then his fingers went white and we headed to the hospital! Matt was at work and I thought I'll call him after we find out if its broke or not, well need the money!! (stupid economy) when we got to the hospital we were waiting and I asked him how he was doing and he said well, its just that (this is the part where the crying got really bad) its just that... I thought I was good at swing set!!!!!!!!
I hugged the daylights out of him, here we are broken arm, pain and looking at a cast for 6 weeks and his concern is that he wasn't good at swing set!! Can you get more innocent!! How thankful I am to be in the school of Kyle!! After doing all the medical stuff we headed home, we stopped at Grandmas to have some dinner and I told Kyle to eat and he stated he couldn't eat his hamburger he had a broken arm, to which I responded does the other one work? Oh... ya he shook his head and ate his hamburger!!
We headed to the doctors office about 5 days later to get the hard cast on and found out that his arm would need to be reset (this meant surgery) I explained to Kyle what we would need to do and his only concern was that when they put the cast on that it be a glow in the dark cast!!! Big Deal when you are 5!! He did great and the surgery was quick and we will get the real cast tomorrow!!! The people at the hospital told me to keep him down as best I could! I wonder if they have ever watched an 81 pound 4feet 1 inch boy play! (yes, those are his real height and weight) I have no Idea how we will keep him clothed and fed over the teen years!
but ,other than that same old same old! Things are nice here I love the fall! The air and the sun its neat to see the seasons change! I am excited to see the holidays come! My parents are coming in this weekend I can't wait! well Hope to hear from any of you soon! Ill keep you posted!
Love ~Cindy
P.S. To all you boy Moms... Good Luck!!!

Time Flies!!!
Well here I am again trying to get it done and not having enough hours in the day, I'm sure none of you know what that feels like! So here is the update for us! Kyle started school!!!! The big KDG. He loves it, today was his official day alone and I was a little nervous for him, reminding him to behave and to ask for help, all those mothering reminders. As we got to the school he was very anxious to get inside. We walked in and he found his name and had me help him with his name badge! I stood there with tears! (But trying to act cool you know , don't want to embarrass him) His teacher welcomed him and helped him get his things to start the day and as he walked back to his seat he looked at me and said it's ok Mom you can go! I guess I should be happy that he wasn't clinging to me screaming don't go!! (and I am) I guess it just hard to believe that I'm not needed, but them when we got home he had me make him a sandwich so I guess I'm good for somethings!!! I remember that first day and I am so glad that he was happy and excited. How fun it will be to watch him learn and grow this year! He is already full of facts! Mom, did you know that bats eat mosquito's! (Random, but true) How lucky I am to have such a smart boy!

A new week!!
Well I am trying to stay to my weekly update! So things are going well! We had a great weekend just a lazy couple of days! I am staying busy cutting vinyl and mommying! I was thinking I need to put up some of the crazy things the kids do so here is number one! The other day Tyler found my exercise band (you know the kind with the handles at each that stretches) I didn't think any thing of it at the time but when I looked and realized what the kids were doing it was too late! They each had one end and they were about 12 feet apart and just as I realize what is going on Kyle says ok Tyler let go! Ok Ky Ky (in his usual way) and BAM!!!! WHA!!!!! I started laughing as I tried to comfort him! I asked him what he thought was going to happen he said I DIDN'T KNOW!!! and the tears continued to fall as Tyler Said OK KY KY you OK! What a Sweetie~ They are so fun some days and total terrors others! I am thankful for them each day though! the weather has been teasing us with a warm day here and a sunny one there! I guess I need to enjoy the sun while it lasts! Love to you all!! Blog soon!!!!
